Illuminati: The Game of Conspiracy

Has anyone ever played the Steve Jackson card game called Illuminati: The Game of Conspiracy (not to be confused with the trading card game with a very similar name) ? I played it as a student and found it a huge amount of fun. The downside is the rules are quite complicated and it can take a long time to play. Having said that, yes it's true, the FBI does indeed control the Goldfish Fanciers ! I should say this is a game for adults rather than children as some of the card groups are a bit non PC (e.g. International Drug Smugglers), but if you take it as a bit tongue in cheek it will bring a smile to your face (Evil Geniuses For a Better Tomorrow - one of my favourites). What makes the game particularly interesting is each of the player have different objectives to win.

I have the game and the Y2K expansion for it and I haven't had enough gameplay of it. I have dragged it to the club a couple of times and its in the 'we should play that sometime' limbo.....

We have people you can play Nuclear War with sensibly at the club so Illuminati isn't a problem....
