Great game and thanks Chris for all your hard work!
Hmmm one more turn, one more turn and then we'd have smashed Wellington and then...well be rolled over by the Prussians but lets ignore that.

So, what's the official verdict ?
With the Anglo-Dutch battered but still holding the vital positions. Prussian fresh & on the field. Both sides having forces available to come into play.
What would a second day of battle produce ?

With the Anglo-Dutch battered but still holding the vital positions. Prussian fresh & on the field. Both sides having forces available to come into play. Precisely which forces are we talking about? For the allies: the remainder of the Prussian army, plus the entire (fresh) armies raised by Russia and Austria to crush Napoleon. For the French: Grouchy? Maybe? I think the Anglo-Dutch keeping hold of the key positions is the deciding factor here. At the point we stopped, they could quite reasonably have claimed to take the worst the Emperor had thrown at them. None of Prince William's troops were panicked and falling back, and personally my Corps had stalled completely. As Marshal Ney I'm happy to concede the point.
I've not played Flintloque but I'd be happy to see if I could make a better fist of taking the formal gardens with elvish troops rather than Bavarians.

Think win for Katie is a fair summary...the French Guard still had their best units fresh and uncommitted, about to hurt/break Wellington (who I suspect was getting a trifle worried, dodging French cannonballs is one thing but bayonets?) but there's no way we could have held the Prussians.
If only Ney had committed his cavalry sooner...

Read somewhere that Wellington had about 18000 stationed at Hale some 8 miles away as a fall back/flank guard. I think they were the better Dutch forces . Could have made for Waterloo day 2

Spiffing. Ney might be available if I can finish painting him. I've got Mouratte on the go as well, but he was in Italy at the time.

Ney is painted, so he's available... Today's tasks including finding the Elf cavalry and the buildings for Hug-a-munter (both of which are in a box somewhere in the games room!)
General Fartsagale is an option for the Allies as well.
I'm just struggling to find a gateway. I thought I had one somewhere but I don't know what box it's in...
