The points values are a bit busted at the moment. The units would be 4-10 figures, with 4-8 units a side -- I've got at least a couple of sides painted up or in the queue. Bigger games can use >1 commander per side. It needs markers for "routing", "taking fire", "flew last move" and vehicle damage. Various parts are nicked from various places (coloured dice with different hit scores I can't remember where, activation is from LR as is the hits/armour/kills mechanism. Cascading vehicle damage is from somewhere else as well). The weapons list should cover a lot of WH40K, Ion Age and Kryomek humans.

Sounds interesting. I've got 40k figures that I could use (Space marines) and some Stargrunt figures that could work too.

I have a shelf's worth of sci-fi miniatures I haven't put on the table for over a year. Will mull over the rules at the weekend and throw a list together. Are we using a specific number of troops or points limit? Trying out points limits even with a busted system will give us a sense of how busted it is and what to fix. Since we're talking about sci-fi rules, I am also still keen to get in a game of this. I have a couple of scenarios drawn up already.

Let's not get stressed about points. I was figuring units of 4-6 power infantry, heavy weapon in each, support will be 2-3 heavy weapons, command might be lighter. 3-5 units.
As the troops get lighter, more figures per unit.
