I'm not at the club much (in fact, I've only been once) but if you are up for some Warhammer Rogue Trader style, we can talk ;-)
I've put my vote against that one for now, as I am also trying to stavlise my habit (I mean hobby) to achieve at least one thing; I was doing quite well with some Orks before Bring Out Your Lead in August, so having a game or two planned will help it along nicely.

With 40k being the top scorer, I will make some space at home for the 58th to return, whether for a crusade into the unhallowed Exodite worlds or for frontier duty on the edge of the Astronomican's reach, we shall see...
Suprisingly, "other" ideas like inter-war have also seen a fair bit of discussion and I know there is considerable interest in continuing the fantasy campaign, not least from me! It's back to the classics over the cold season, it seems...
Laboratory games will return in 2018!

As to command system
The Napoleonic system of command dice works quite well. Maybe that could be borrowed and adapted somehow.

I like the allocation of command dice, it works for the "big battle" environment, I am still messing around with Nordic Weasel's idea of Stress Levels in my current lab rules.
