Hy guys, by the way DG's author, Daniel Mersey is in Cambridge at Heffers Games on Friday 13. We are running a game of Dragon Rampant that night, and we are looking for players. If you are interested please sign in here: www.facebook.com/events/1082256191915966/

Was a fun game at Heffers and it was nice to meet Daniel; he seemed like a very nice bloke.

He had a lot of good ideas. His main one was that having a scenario which isn't just fight and kill really helps a game be fun. The other one was that he tended to be approximate with things: although there's meant to be 3" between units, it's not the end of the world if it's not. You can kind of pick up on the approximate nature in his rules, them being very stream lined to just get things done - e.g. line of sight or bonuses/penalties from terrain being applied for the whole unit if any part of the unit is affected.
Also, I got an extra rule added to my rulebook... He signed it: "Deus Ex Machina: show this to your opponent to gain one reroll per game". Nice for me.

So when shall we have the next big Dragon Rampant bash? Or failing that, a Fantasy Warriors fest?

He sounds ace, sorry I missed it. That's the reason I like DR, it gets a move on and doesn't hinge on bureaucratic nonsense.
Chad, I'm about next week and the week after but I am in theory supposed to be doing Rogue Trader next week. I am definitely up for Dragon Rampant or FW, my preference as usual is for DR.

Yes, OK. I'll try and remember to bring stuff in then.
I don't have a link, but I have a copy of the magazine.
