Yes, its the old MB/GW crossover boardgame with stacks of miniatures in it. boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/1568/space-crusadeDave, Dan and myself have played the first mission in what we hope will be a semi-regular game event to play through a campaign - hopefully running every 3 weeks or so to give us time to play other things. We could add one more regular player if someone is interested, or could hold the seat to drop ins as per the Formula De game. Currently either Ultramarines or Eldar are available for play! Anyone interested say here, or at the club nights

Wow! I didnt recognise the name but looking at the pictures, this is a blast from the past! I played this years ago so yeah I'll drop in for a game now and then to hold the space open for others to drop in too.

Good couple of missions last night. We all did well (ie survived total annihilation)
Forgot quite how brutal the game was given that we barely explored half the board each time before being driven back screaming into the airlocks

The dice can be horrible especially the white with four zeroes on. The second mission as a simple sweep causes problems in that each squad will want to leave when best for them. However it has left me one rank from winning as the alien.....so next time it gets more difficult for you guys. Equipment is quite important and while orcs and gretchen seem pathetic and easy to kill actually masses f them in hand to hand wear down any marine squad thats high no heavy weapons. Ill take a look at mission 4 and see what it has. If we finish the campaign quickly then I might hand aliens over to someone else and play Eldar.
