I think we should pass them to Rory via PM here or DM in Discord so he can share a list and we can pick Sounds good! I've had yours and Michael's character deets back so far

You have captured the setting in a paragraph! So is it 1920s high adventure. A bit like the 1999 The Mummy film? (really great film) The Mummy! Awesome film. Yes, you have the idea. My personal point of calibration is somewhere between Tintin and Indiana Jones.

Ok chaps, I'll rustle up a character creation guide and we can go through the deets at a convenient time?

"I've had a campaign written for the Pulp Roleplaying System Spirit of the Century for quite a few years that I never got to try in Bristol. The opening mission was designed to be usable as a one-off to be played in 1-3 sessions depending on player appetite. So if Tim fancies a break for a session or 2 I would be happy to run a game." Maybe thats the interim solution while we sort out what system we play next long term? Now imagining WG DisGrace, before the war a talented undergraduate cricketer captaining the Cambridge first XI until being sacked in disgrace due to an 'incident' at Granchester Meadows. Signed up to serve King and Country, spent his time in the trenches hitting grenades back to the Germans with his trusty cricket bat and now uses (his little) brains and brawn for high adventures with friends and aquentences You have captured the setting in a paragraph!

My thoughts on settings in red
WFRP
1) Everyone is fine and I railroad you guys back to something I have material for in WFRP2. Suits me - I have mostly been gonzoing the campaign to date and have no issues with a continuation.
2) We do a WFRP2 restart and we go for the Thousand Thrones campaign. No objection
3) We move to WFRP4 which is set earlier in the WFRP continuum and I could run assorted material for that. Again, don't mind this option, happy to create a new character
Other Fantasy options 4) A Song of Ice and Fire (Game of Thrones) I know this mythos tolerably well so happy to go for this.
5) Wheel of Time Not at all familiar with this setting!
Semi-Modern 6) Feng Shui. This sounds awesome, although I am going to have to spend a lot of time in Google street view if we go for it.
SciFi 7) Traveller
Don't know the setting well but aware that it is relatively flexible as these things go. Happy to give it a go.
8) Star Wars D6
I love the Star Wars mythos, yes.
9) Star Trek Adventures Very happy to eliminate currency transactions from an RP. My vote would be for TOS, I love '60s camp. Love it.
Future Grimdark. 10) I have the Dark Heresy Willing to give it a go
11) I have Only War and could run a Guard campaign Been a Guard player for longer than I've been with my wife so no problem
12) I have some Rogue Trader material as with Only War I'm cool with it but Tim you seem to have reservations? Would rather do something you're happy with
p.s.
I've had a campaign written for the Pulp Roleplaying System Spirit of the Century for quite a few years that I never got to try in Bristol. The opening mission was designed to be usable as a one-off to be played in 1-3 sessions depending on player appetite. So if Tim fancies a break for a session or 2 I would be happy to run a game.

I support rule #2 as drafted, although now I'm REALLY going to have to find the record of my first jab. Overall sensible precautions and I look forward to seeing everyone in vivo in the near future.

I think the Imperium is 100% Lawful Evil. I don't think there's any ambiguity about that in the modern fluff. Maybe the Blue beakies of Macragge aspire to Lawful Neutral.
Chaotic Good, on the other hand? My money's on the Harlequins.

Can adapt my frontier world scenario (Working Titles: The Raskolnikov Intervention or One Of Our Assassins is Missing) to a Tau-aligned scenario if desired. Can't promise goodies and baddies but certainly moral nuance in either an Imperial or Tau scenario. Sterntwilight rather than Grimdark.

How about a gland warrior? That's halfway to being a beakie.

I'm well up for a 40k setting and all the proposed options sound entertaining.
As an Imperial Guard player for two permanently lost decades, I would support either an Imperium or Tau aligned human squad.
I certainly appreciate the desire for a less morally debased setting than The Grim Darkness of the Far Future, but I think a lot of that could be achieved by a remote or frontier setting (the Maelstrom would be a good location for that reason).
I mentioned it on discord but I have some GM experience myself and would be willing to give it a whirl.
