<<OOC>> Good work Dan! <<OOC>>
<<IC>>Glodson suggests to Rene that they go to the pub to get news and rumours about strange lights in the forest, rat like beastmen and battle sites to the North (east)…also find out where the boy who first saw the skull lives. “I’ll get the beers in, chat with the delightful barmaid while you finish off polishing your sword”. <<IC>>

You are setting actions for other players here - please confirm that they have Ok'ed this because I haven't seen it. I can action the ones with Glodsons name on it if you are going to do them and if you say the others have said you can give the instructions then I will do the rest. <<OOC>>No worries, am just trying to get the ball rolling instead of lots of chat without really doing anything, also given Hat Chris doesnt really use teh boards much it might be hard to get his agreement <<OOC>> <<IC>>Please can you all review the above and agree/suggest alternatives...thankyou Mr Wizard...may your beard grow ever long and bushy <<IC>>

<<IC>> Suggested actions:
1. Elf Nob/Tracker and the Human/Bear combo: Chat with militia about lights in the woods/head north east to see if they can see any lights in the woods. 2. Glodson and Brave Sir Robin Rene: Chat with/interrogate boy who encountered the skull, then go to the tavern to try and get stories about the woods glowing at night /rat like beastmen/battle sites to the North(east). 3. Elf Wizard: Drink water, buy (name) beer to get details of what happened to him/how he can bite a coin with no teeth…is it something in his mouth (maybe he’s transformed an invisible demon weapon into a set of false teeth?), is it something like mutated hardened gums…also if I remember correctly the coin had the dark wind of magic on it for a while after it was bitten so it’s certainly of interest.
Unless anyone objects lets get investigating. <<IC>>

Hmmm I suspect a certain humans brain as well as grapes have been fermenting in the shed!
-But the skulls may glow at night so we might be able to see them at night/there might be a glowing patch of woods. Maybe talk to militia in case they’ve seen any glowing areas of forest in their patrols? -Maybe heading out into the woods to the North East could be useful as that’s where most of the attacks have occurred, potentially protecting the discovery of Skeletor (Whose so money supermarket, also I need a name for the bad guy(s)/Skaven so this’ll do for now). -Can the Elf Wizard buy Wuder beer, while he sips water, and ask to see how he can leave bite marks in a penny despite having less teeth than I have brain cells!

There have been 4 attacks on villagers, 1 to the south and three to the north east. I think two of the people attacked state the skull flew away northwards.

Alas no Harlequin swaps…once I completed my collection so I had enough for a decent force and one of each original metal Harlequin (plus jetbike) I sold the spares.
Will we be using toughness 4 Marines or toughness 3? Anyhow would like to use my marines and looking at what I have painted its: 5 Terminators with lightning claws, 1 Terminator Captain, 1 Marine Medic, 1 Devastator squad (plus a Deathwatch Assault Marine, seconded from the Black Templars, who hates everything thats not Imperium and human)

Ideas why the skulls are appearing
1.Rival winemakers 2.Love rival - Both Mayor and his Wife (of negotiable affection) are rumoured to have had affairs. -Husband or relative of woman ruined by mayor -Wifes former lover wreaking harvest to get revenge for her choosing Mayor over him. 3. Chaos/Skaven – It’s what they do. 4. Temperance League – The Elf Wizards new friends conducting guerrilla warfare against the devils drink 5. Other
Good idea about keeping an eye upon Wunder and hadn't thought about how he bit a coin without any teeth..suspect he's been exposed/eaten warpstone at some point so may be able to lead us to where he found it 6/7 years ago...just how we communicate with him to do this is another matter...he likes beer?
Also if the skulls glow maybe we can spot them at night, a light in the forest? Maybe worth getting Mr Elf ranger/tracker (whatever Hat Chris is) and the person with the highest perception to stop up late and see if they can see can spot anything (maybe heading out towards the the attacks have occurred most?)
I'd like to visit a barn to clutch at some straws

Ok that’s another good reason for him meeting an accident, not actually saying what I thought he said should be a capital offence!
Badger like beastmen, not really skaven like…hopefully there will be a rat and mole like beastmen found along with a Slann driving a horseless carriage. Welcome to Warhammer Wind in the Willows!

Glodson's Notes: 1: Since we've decided that the Elf wizard is teetotal (not though his agreement mind you...we just keep asking for him to be served water)he's become useful and cast a spell that aided the party. 2: If the opportunity occurs we should accidently kill Parzival for being a git. 3. There is a village idiot by the well whose speaking in various dodgy languages, including Brettonian and skaven. Also he breathes out puffs of dark magic that quickly dissipate. Went mad 6 years ago, why we have no idea …found some warpstone which may explain a few things??? This would also suggest there is Skaven activity in the area but Parzival has said there have been no reports of ratlike beastmen. 4. I like the local shopkeeper (now known as Susan Carter), the gossip is entertaining but may destroy her collection of Garden Gnomes out of principle. 5. The Knight wants a toast rack, hot buttered crumpet and to chat with Isolde some more about her jugs of ale. 6. I need a step ladder, mostly to acquire cheese. 7. The mayors house has mead that I want to drink…or at least find more about it …actually I want to drink it while being told more about it, well unless its full of warpstone or something equally awful (eg: Elven Wine). 8. Elisabet is now known as ‘Woman of Negotiable Affection’ thanks to Susan Caters gossip…and her insulting me. Maybe her affairs are a plot point, maybe the gossip is a red herring. 9. As a party we’re not very good at investigating. 10. The skulls seem to fly north, and three of the four attacks have been to the north east…maybe we can search the woods in that area…maybe that’s where the skaven are hiding? 11. The skulls have a physical presence so we can fight them…maybe there are only a few and we can win the day by brawn not brain…or capture one and get it to take us back to wherever it came from (hopefully not the Realms of Chaos…but I do like big hats!) 12. We could just loot the village (am sure we could take on the Militia easily), kill the inhabitants and blame the skulls for the devastation….Brave knight just think of all the toast racks you’d be able to acquire!
