Simple purpose for the thread.
Somewhere to discuss upcoming action between sessions.
Potentially can be used to shift on individual activity off screen as well.
Its in character in terms of being what your characters actually discuss, defined game/session related material for current activity that's relevant to ongoiing play, rather than requiring actual in character style speech and talk - anything done in full character is fine if someone decides to prepare a speech or two, go ahead but clearly tag it before and after [In Character] [/In Character] and appropriate interaction ideas discussion may be eligible for some very small XP awards.
I guess the primary purpose is more to slap down the things you have found out and want to think about so you have an ongoing record and discussion that helps link sessions together and keep the overall story arcs in people's minds between session with extended gaps.
Everything is assumed to generally be done in your current barracks of choice under standard conditions during downtime. If we are in media res in the session then discussion on immediate action isn't permitted but story arc discussion can be assumed to be done prior to current action in the last downtime.
Go play.....

Well while my leg gets fixed we have various stands to investigate: 1.The cruiser and shuttle of whatever his name was who nearly made me legless. 2.His body and all the weird tech/powers he had. 3.His associates that are alive/search the bodies of those who dies. 4.Any leads we find to the trade in alien tech/artifacts, especially if any lead towards the south of the planet and/or the 'Reborn' cult. 5.Anything that turns up re the Alpha Legion/fake Black Templars.

Oh also didn't the White Scars search the cruiser previously? Are we able to get the intel they gathered on it/or at least confirmation this actually happened (could it have been our friendly Alpha Legion friends pretending to be White Scars?)

Mediator Dyne told you that he had used Vincent's authority to request a shakedown by Space Marines and the White Scars responded. He has a report from them that basically reads:
1) Mild Warp sensations in a few areas - nothing inconsistent with a recently or frequently translated vessels, and further investigation found no warp entities, intrusions or breaches. 2) Cargo manifests were within 1% accurate, a typical vessel of this type that wasn't bulk hauling ore or grain would be around 2% inaccurate on average. Fines were levied for these infractions. Detailed accounts suggest a couple of bales of expensive textiles and a few crates of alcohol were missing. 3) Emissions in the engine bay area were 24% above cited limits, crew showed some limited signs of respiratory damage but most work was conducted by servitors in that area. A fine was levied for damage to the servitors which were on loan from the Arbites Penal service. 4) No xenos tech that was proscribed was discovered. A number of Jokaero devices were identified, it was noted that there were a number pieces of suspected Eldar art on the vessel, but these were not proscribed works. Several ancient pictor images were found, not proscribed as they showed images of extant alien origin structures in or near population centre in the Calixis Sector. 4) Drahj was not present in person, but by vid/vox. The search was assisted by his Cargomaster. The White Scars noted that the senior officer quarters were decadent in their appointments. Crew quarters were judged overly comfortable for mere spacehands.
White Scars Conclusion: No conclusive evidence of involvement in the Cold Trade, nothing unusual in terms of operation found. Owner close to borderline of deviance in some areas of self indulgence, but this is expected with this type of trader.

Ok...brainstorming from the report: 1. Drahj was 'deviant' thus intentionally wasn't present...but we knew that already. 2. The ship and shuttle need to be searched in more detail, with Mat's minion and someone who knows the cold trade better than we do (Mediator Dyne??)Also can this be done in such a way as to suggest its a routine search/Drahj is not dead etc so evidence isn't destroyed but in sufficient force to ensure it isn't resisted. 3. Could the emissions from the engine bay be due to secret cargo holds? Is it usual that the Arbites Penal service loans servitors? 4. Can we check where this ship and shuttle have been, just in case there are any links to ongoing investigations. 5. Cargo manifests more accurate than normal but expensive items missing...odd.
Lastly what happened to the Kittens? Are they ok? I would like to look after them....as useful reminders of my failure upon the field of combat.

One kitten teleported - the other was trashed with you when you fate pointed. Its broken and utterly unuseable but you have the fragments.
Arbites Penal servitors is not common but nor is it vastly unusual. High criminal rates that generate a lot of servitors from the local Adeptus Mechanicus works may mean local nobs have some spare to hand some over to people 'for services rendered' - however since they cannot formally give Imperial property away (because they were not ones purchased from local authorities or direct from the Mechanicus), they technically remain Arbites property. It does mean that Drahj did someone or other important favours in his time though.
The emissions are likely just poor maintenance because its a high servitor use area in this case. Fines for damage to Imperial property are there so that if you get such servitors you don't just trash them because they came free.

Can the damaged kitten be fashioned into devotional token attached to my armor, to remind me that despite accepting the challenge I allowed the unclean to live?
And does anyone else have any idea's/comments?

Observing and pondering but nothing relevant to add as of yet.

I think step 1, no matter what we do from there is to secure the shuttle.

Arbites cameras indicate that the shuttle is in a private landing pit. Two guards on the entrance in ship uniforms and sidearms, two guards in the pit in full carapace and longarms. Crew appear to wander in and out. Its a Shuttle type - 20 regular humans or a space marine squad capacity plus cargo

So the plan of action is to secure the shuttle and ship on Monday...then head South afterwards

Do we know how many crew are on board? Or at least how many have wandered about?

Its a shuttle - typical capacity about 20people max. Thus far apart from the bad dude and his half dozen guards there appear to be about another half dozen according to Arbites surveillance
