Hiya, hoping that I can get to this. I feel a bit cheeky coming to these, but weeknights are out for me because of work and family so the weekend games are a rare opportunity to come down and play there! I play oldhammer (3rd edition Warhammer mostly), I brought fimir last time and sea elves the time before that. Is anybody likely to be doing any fantasy gaming? I'm happy to play 3rd ed or just to use my models in any other game system provided someone can talk me through it!

I've got figures painted for "Pax Boschemannica" (28mm skirmish, Roman Orcs vs Halfling Hooligans) and "Erin" (28mm skirmish, Irish mythology, humans, elves and orcs). And "Tide of Iron" needs an outing. 2-4 players ww2 hex combat. Hopefully there should be rules downloads at www.fysh.org/~katie/wargames/downloads/toi/

Hiya, hoping that I can get to this. Please do, always good to improve even potential numbers. Oldhammer will get some interest - my personal interest of Warhammer Fantasy peaked with 2nd Ed using the Ravening Hordes lists - which as it turned out was a dry run for 3rd Ed anyway and are IME totally compatible. I may throw my skaven in the car but likely will not have time for a game sadly. We are doing another fantasy game - Fantasy Warriors which several people are building armies for or saboting Warhammer figures or even playing as is Warhammer based. Seems decent enough and all the rules are available on Katie's website. If you look in the Fantasy Warriors thread the webpage is quoted - take a look.

I have a lot of dwarf romans looking for a lick of paint and a game like this would be a good excuse to work on them. (Though not necessarily for Sunday unless I have a load of free painting time, or the game doesn't involve that many minis!)

Well was planning on bringing my dwarfs along as well as my Romans so if you fancy a game of 3rd that would be grand

"do the rules expand beyond orcs and halflings?"
Not yet... I reverse engineered as much of the points system as can be recovered from the three sets of stats given (Orc, Halfling and Hobgoblin) so it's possible to add some new species.
Maveryc appears to be re-awakening -- there are supposedly more sculpts on the way.

Doesn't sound like they'd very easily work as "counts-as" Orc legionaries, but would have to see the rules know...
