I've got a proto-type of a web app going. It isn't the full set of permutations and has no styling, but you can quickly find out what you have to roll to spray multiple hits over a warmaster with a chain gun at short range. Every Nexus SWAT should, nay must!, have one integrated into their armour's HUD. Next step: there's a few bugs/missing features with this version (e.g., target being a speeding vehicle should have an effect, but it doesn't) so they need ironing out. After that, I think I'll add the damage calculator. Then extend the options to cover more permutations (currently only green-elite humans can shoot human weapons at kryomek). I'd like to then add some nice CSS, but that'll come once the functionality is set. Here's a screenshot of version 0.1:

And hence my preference for the terms "looming" and "skulking".
I could make my python script dump its DB as JSON to use for the stats... It's currently got most of the main troop types & weapons.

I missed the £15 mini-haul. I just wasnt paying attention and it finished this morning; someone got it for minimum price. Oh well, but nice for them.

Here's V1.1 live: rjaduthie.co.uk/Testing/js/kryomek/WeaponForm.html Give it a go! There are probably still bugs and there are only limited choices - human firer and kryomek targets. Also, the code behind it all is horrible. The next iteration will make the code nicer, probably try to use a data structure, like Katie's JSON, to store the weapon and model information.

Also, I realise that someone, as a software engineer, might want to look at the code: beware!.. it's terrible. At least I'm getting an idea of what variables functionality is required to create a little app to do this. Classic case of designing at the keyboard.

Hey! I really wouldn't mind another go at Kryomek at some point. If we schedule a game, it might kick my ar$€ into doing more with the JavaScript app.
However, I'm currently painting up forces for a Warhammer 40k 'Rogue Trader' game at "Bring Out Your Lead" in early July. We're going to do "The Battle At The Farm"! This means any Kryomek collecting or coding will have to wait until after that.
Luckily, Katie, you have a tonne of well painted Kryomek stuff all ready. The buildings sound like they might be fun.
I can't do this Monday, but any other Monday in June. What d'ye reckon?
