On this date shall they mysts part and verily shall the Midden pits of hell open.
To that end we shall play a game of Uncharted Seas - fantasy naval that took on ManOWar's spiritual crown until it too nose-dived into the Scrapbook of History. I'll put together some basic fleets, and we'll either go multiple races vs multiple or put up a Battle Royale.
I have Orc (charge and board), Dwarf (slow, ignores the wind, built like floating brick outhouses) and Elf (swift, light and mildly offensive).
I may have time to build up my Human (jack of all trades), Dragonlord (ignores wind with tints of elf) and Shroudmage (rusty dwarves) fleets to something useable.
I will run the game and possibly play, Dan is up for it but do we have any other takers?

There isn't really a directly analogous fleet to the Skaven. The closest are probably the Shroud Mages, who sit between Skaven and Chaos Dwarves. Their racial origin is Chaos Dwarf, their outlook and style is a bit more steampunky/Clan Skyre.

As always, decent game in a relatively fun system.
We ran out a 4 way battle royal - everyone had 4 squadrons, one of a BB, one of 3x CAs and 2 squadrons of 3xFF. Every set up in the corner of a 5.5' x 5' board. A few terrain pieces a nasty pointy island, a reef and two smaller softer islands.
The Orcs piled towards the dwarves hoping their dazzle camo would mean they could mess the exquisite deck planking of the dwarves, the Shroud mages were caught with trousers down as a barely ready fleet steamed at the flamboyantly coloured elves, the dwarves started engaging to both sides and the Elves flew with the wind aiming to cross the T of the shroud mages while sailing into the Orcs. The elves crapped on everyone with a pet thunderstorm which slowed everyone and slew crew. The orcs and dwarves crashed into each other - the dwarves battered Orc FFs and sank a cruiser at the last - the Orcs shattered the first dwarf frigate squadron causing the entire dwarf fleet to change direction and steam at them. The orcs and elves engaged swapping Frigate casualties. The Shroud mages powered at the Elves and with BB and CAs took down an elf cruiser (crossing the T of a force with semi decent fore arc guns isn't ideal). The Shroud mage FFs piled in and lit up the last couple of elf cruisers sinking one on their own and leaving the last to the BBs broadside.
The Orcs won on mayhem alone, the Shroud mages came a close second and probably pleases their political masters by doing the highest ratio of damage delivered to damage taken. The dwarves and elves did similar amounts of damage (slightly in dwarf favour) but the dwarves took far fewer losses.
We played a 5 turn game with 16 squadrons on table in just about 2.5hours. We might have gone further had we played a bit quicker but people were picking up the system and the ship balances. We will be playing another game in the New Year fairly soon - ideally a 2 side battle with multiple races on each side. I hope to have more fleets painted by then as the Shroud Mages were in the Emperor's New Clothes.

Crikey, so Dan's force wasn't totally destroyed after a rash and ill-considered sail through a valley of death type scenario? I'm shocked, shocked to the core!!

My Orks did charge but luckily that's exactly what they're designed to do!
