I have successfully finished painting enough figures to provide some forces. I've done; Cops, SWAT, NeoSoviets and a Cyberpunk gang along with some random characters. I'm working on some civilians and some more terrain; if things go well, I might splash out on a bunch of Easy District's near-future stuff.
I've got an enormous pile of Foundry/Copplestone/Grenadier figures suitable that are in the production queue (Mostly waiting on me buying bases).
Who's up for doing what when?

NeoSoviets: sounds very 2000AD.

"I've got a squad of 28mm sci-fi guys."
So, having had a play with army lists, I think about 400 points makes a decent sized force -- there's enough space in there to afford some interesting stuff; For example it buys a detective and 9 SWAT, or a hero and 7 gang members. That'll be about 3-4 manoeuvre groups which ought to produce a good game and at that level we could probably have more than 1 player a side.
Note that power armour is silly expensive; You need at least a 17 point figure, 100 points for the armour and then big weapons to make it useful are in the 20-30 point range and that's just the leader for the unit. 400 points will probably get you three of them at best...
We do not have prices for vehicles. I don't quite know what to do with those yet; we'll have to house-rule them, but we'll have to see what effect they have with some games.

I would definitely be interested in this. I have a pretty good collection of the old Future Warriors / Kill Zone models, plus some Neo-Soviets of my own! I don't have any power armour, but I could easily make Trooper, Rebel, Scavengers, or Savage forces. I also have a pretty good collection of post-apocalyptic terrain.

I've ordered a copy of "Combat Zone" from EM4 because I was ordering bases and spotted that it was only 15 quid at the moment. It's due today!!!
CZ is the evolution of "Kill Zone". Don't know whether it's as good or not but the box set comes with a bunch of figures anyway so I figured I'd see.

Basic in the game rulebook, but there's a free expansion pdf with more options and also a bunch of extras on the website. It doesn't have the character gang attributes like KZ but it instead has a skill system (along with progression).
I'll see if I can compile a set together into a single doc.
The box set is not bad for 15 quid -- there's 5 mechs (same sprues as the ones I use for Horizon Wars), 10 gang members and 5 soldiers in the box (so about a tenner of miniatures) plus a pad of roster sheets, rule book, scenario book, counters, quick ref sheet and some card buildings and a bunch of D4, D6 and D8. (Shipping is free above 25 quid, so if we were getting several would make sense to combine)
(There are upgrades and extra metal parts for the figures at Moonraker Minis which are much better than the plastic arms/weapons. Not the BEST figures in the world, but not bad for the price.)
It's definitely similar to KillZone and definitely feels like the sequel and with a similar scale. The morale rules are better without being too fiddly. There's also better zombie rules... :-)

Ah, no there are 15 gang members, 10 troopers and 5 mechs.
There's a 7 quid version which is just the book, counters & ref card. I'm just trying to understand how rate of fire values work for my stats compilation.
