I will bring both my ACW and Fantasy naval games for Monday. We'll get onto whichever people are going for.
Who is up for it? Rory, if you are about I'll prioritise the ACW stuff.....
For Uncharted Seas I now have Dwarf, Orc, Elf, DragonLord, Shroud Mage and Bone Griffon ready and Im painting the Ralgard at the moment with Imperial Human unboxed.....also Ihave the many tokens prepped to allow for on table record keeping meaning the paper-faff is reduced.
For ACW, I now have 6 different flotillas for each side and a few extra vessels from the last time I dragged them to the club.

I'll be kicking around so I'd be happy to have a game - ACW or fantasy, a nod's as good as a wink

My plans get changed at extremely short notice these days but based on current information I will not be at club this evening I'm afraid. See you guys next week, with luck!

Well we had a proper slugfest. Conclusions: 1) Exploding battleships are scary, exploding cruisers are firework displays. 2) Undead whales are hard to find, and hard to kill and bend boats 3) Orcs can take a punt with frigates boarding battleships and win! 4) Dwarves have good reason to get irritated with elves 5) Trebuchets! Thats a way to force close range action.....

Lessons and observations.
Dwarfs are slow.
Should have kept the orcas on the surface for a couple of turns to push them further up the table. They are tough buggers and should be good to withstand a band 4 hit or two
It would have been better to have flattened that last frigate to reduce the elf hand size.
Trebuchets rock
Explosions are fun
Dwarfs are really slow

Was a lot of fun - but curse that pesky Elven magic trickery!

Those elf battleships are the Jos Verstappen of the Uncharted Seas....

Exposing : I meant exploding
Skellies against dwarves only would be a nasty grind.

Well thats where the alternate dwarf fleet I have comes into play Instead of 1 battleship, three cruisers and two sets of three frigates, its two heavy cruisers, three regular cruisers, one set of four frigates and two solo submarines.

That sounds like a good mix. Interesting to see it in action
I remember that you don't get to fire if you ram, but does that also apply if you only make a side contact , followed by boading ?
