You know, the packing/dunnage type soft springy insulation foam you get padding out monitors and office equipment.
Does anybody have any lying around? I love using this stuff for the core of hills and buildings and I have a medium-to-large modelling project I want to do this summer for which I could use a lot of this stuff.
If anyone knows where I can get some slabs of this I'd very much appreciate the guidance. Thanks in advance.

You mean expanded polystyrene?
I would get it from eccleston & hart because I used to work with Mike who runs it. They're in Birmingham which may be a bit impractical.
See if there's an EPS block moulder somewhere nearer?

Oh yeah -- Do NOT buy insulation foam. It's got a fire retardant in it. Great idea if you're filling a wall with it. Bad idea if you intend to cut it with a hot-knife because it'll give off fairly nasty bromide compounds.
A block moulder will have the option of structural quality or packing quality.
