We've rigged up one of our spare rooms as my study. So I'm finally unpacking all my modelling kit, which hasn't seen the light of day since about 2011.
Why do I have a Rolls Royce armour car squadron, a full battery of 25-pounders, three cruiser tanks and three Blenheim's all in that deviant 6mm scale? they're all fully based as well. I also found a bag with what looks like a at least a rifle company of 6mm infantry.
I seem to recall Hat Chris was muttering about this sort of thing way back (a occurrence which might also explain the entire battalion of North Vietnamese Army in 15mm that I also found).

There was a brief ill fated outbreak of people wanting to play Flames of War in that small scale.

If I remember correctly Dave, you did play at least one game of Flames of War at 6mm scale with that sort of mix. Trying desperately to remember who you played against (Steve, perhaps). I remember it looking good too.

I remember it looking good too. I've slept since then, so I have no memory of it. Not sure what to do with either of them. Guess its box them up and into the spare room they go.

Listy,
You could always buy and paint the Italian opposition. You know you want to ...

Listy, You could always buy and paint the Italian opposition. You know you want to ... Simon As they're Rolls Royce armoured cars I'm more likely to buy and paint a bunch of Iraqi's.

... but they’re 6mm. They really wouldn’t take very long to paint. Then you could get some Matilda 2s as well. Throw in a few trucks for the infantry and maybe some Vickers light tanks and you’d have a nice early war British desert army .

I did briefly wonder if I could get away with sneaking painting materials to my office at the Cavendish to do some while we are in lockdown but I need other people in the building before I can justify staying there for an extended period and they likely will take up the time I'd have spare.....

Battlegroup Northag is now scheduled to come out in 10mm -- which might mean you could use them with 6mm. You'd just need army lists...

Right, I've decided to sell both, as they're getting in the way. So any offers? Pictures can be found here: imgur.com/a/LaGBqiR6mm Desert lot: 20* Rolls Royce Armoured Cars (HQ elements have roundels on the turrets) 8x 25lbrs 8x FAT's 5x 15cwt (1x with tilt) 1x staff team, 2x HQ stand with 2x personnel ea 4x HQ stand with 3x personnel ea 4x 2-pounders (Unbased) 3x Cruisers 3x Blenheim's Some of the command stands are unbased. Some slight chipping. One of the 2-pounders is the worst The NV Army has the following 5x command stands (1x unbased) 29x infantry stands (7x unbased) 6x tripod mounted HMG's 3x Light AA guns 3x bunkers (resin) 6x booby trap markers (all modeled from the US army manual on Booby traps found in Vietnam) 1x T55 hull (no turret) 1x T55 1x PT76 Chipping on these is more substantial, but still not terrible. The bases in the pictures were just he first ones I grabbed out of the box. Edit: Just found another Roller
