Hello Chris here. The old Chris, well not the old Chris cause I'm younger. Not the hat Chris. The Chris that hasn't been in ages. That Chris. I think I'm chair of the club but could be wrong.
Anyway I'm hoping to be coming to club slightly more often and was hoping to arrange a weekend gaming session in October so this is all very convenient. Would there be room for a table to run a warhammer 3rd game on, I have some local 3rd enthusiasts that would love a game but obviously anything run would be open to fellow regulars. Not that I'm a regular any more, though I hope to be once more.
For what it is worth the 29th would be best for me but I appreciate, not being a regular anymore that my view is of less importance.

7th Sept is too close, 29th would seem to be best - though Im certain someone didnt like it.
I think we should try and organise it for then as otherwise we are going to slip into a never ending cycle of delay - unless we can rapidly get a firm date settled in early October.
Hi Chris, good to hear from you and hope to see you again.....yes given the last all day session we had there should be room for another table whatever date we settle on - we never used more than 3/4 of the space in the main hall last time despite having between 3 and 4 games going on.

Ah I think it was me that said about the 29th but that doesn't apply now as I'm going to that thing on the Friday now instead.

Blimey we'll be playing 1st Ed 40K next... Why not, I have the armies and the rules, rather play small skirmishes with all the random tables than the later army lists though. Anyway thanks all for welcoming me back, I just need to make it along to an evening now, will be good to see you all again and many new faces by the look of things.

Well we're doing a bit of 2nd ed on the 2nd so 1st isn't a giant step away.

Calendar (yes we have a calendar....) has been updated to show this....I will PM everyone on list in case they have not seen yet (those on email flags will get a warning about it as well). If Dave emails everyone else we should get as many as possible.

If anyone is interested in PBI, then if they list their forces here or by PM or to me on old stylee paper at the club then I can make up a force for them to try the game out. Multibased figures (FoW are easy, anything that works by fire team/ section / squad or hvy weapon will work).
If people bring figures on the day then I can knock up a suitable list as well.
Please note that any force requires 2 full platoons of infantry as a basic core force, guns and tanks max out at 6 for anything useful (really light tanks/tankettes and guns with sufficiently low armour or gun power will escape that limit). The fill ins tend to be the support weapons like light or medium mortars, HMGs, AT rifles etc.
Then we can run a couple of games, or a King of the table, or even a series of challenges if that interests.
Failing that I'll bring my bigger boardgames
