Crashed my car. Car dead and keys gone as where in the car so unless they turn up at the recovery place when I go there. or hat Chris comes to the next meeting it'll be a no go.

Thanks. :-) I over took a very slow moving car, they where only doing about 30 and when I pulled back in in front of them and lifted off I hit a dip in the road and the car veered left so I corrected to the right and slammed on the brakes. At that point I think the back end went as the car (I think as it all happened in a few seconds) spun about 90 degrees and rolled over into the ditch. Nicely slotting between those 2 trees!

Ok going to try and find my poor car tomorrow morning when everywhere is finally open and I can find out if it's in Cambridge or Huntingdon and hopefully recover some of my belongings that where in the car if they didn't just end up in the ditch when they got the car out. Which hopefully will include the scout hut keys as I kept them in the car to stop myself forgetting them on Mondays. Not sure quite how I'd get home though. I can get the guided bus B (which is the one I'd use to get in and have a day return on) from Orchard park West at the top of Arbury road which is a fairly straight walk at either 10:46 or 11:46 to get back to the wilds of Fen Drayton. Living in or within cycling distance of Cambridge was a damn site easier. As was living within walking distance of the club. Or as was having a car.
