Hi all! I'm a vet student here in Cambridge and I've been gaming with various people here over the last few years. I've recently come across this group, and I was wondering whether you'd be happy for newcomers to show up? I was also wondering how many people turn up and what sort of games get played?
Thanks!
Matt

Hi and welcome to the boards. We are always happy for new members to turn up. A typical night usually has eight to ten people and normally has two or three games going on. One is pretty much always a board game the others can be more board games or miniature games. If miniature wargames are your thing then we have had a recent revival with more being played which is good as that is how the club started but board games have become a rock in the club as well. If you look in the Iibrary thread that gives an idea of the range of games of a types that we see and have available.
If you know what you want to play then the forums are the best way to pre organise outside the sessions themselves.
The Monday coming (9th) will be something of an exception as it will be the night that five of us run an RPG session so numbers discounting us will be smaller than usual.
Come on down when you want to...first night is free!

Just wanted to say a quick thanks to everybody for being most welcoming! Despite being thrashed at my first game of Power Grid, I might even consider coming back at some point...
