"I assume this relates to the foundation of Profundia and Luthany. Is this an opportunity for the Llanis to relitigate old territorial claims, then?"
The Cashar humans, mostly led by Llanis, displaced the elves who'd shared power in the Old Kingdom when the Many Silver Crowns were created after the division of humanity between the Baarlands and the Plains. How your elves feel about this probably depends whether they're Charakian, Sminthian or Desne.

Theologians have identified Desne symbolism in the invocation of the elvish war-Goddess Leete. Charak all-mother is called upon at every tangerine harvest. The Topaz Throne maintains the rite of all the Gods save one* which has formed the hub of elvish sprituality since the descent of the High Elves from Vídbláin in the before-time. Sounds like there is old bad blood with the Cashars, although the Lords Allegient are believed to be of the same kith.
Regardless, let them come. His Serene Majesty has already recieved the Vow Allegient from a number of Luthanian hedgelords and the First Equestrian stands ready with the elvish legion.
