If you want to do interactive stuff can we drop it in the 'actual play' thread I started, then I can process replies more easily away from blue sky discussion and don't get the 'I was just jawing, I didn't really do that' after something goes more pear shaped than Conferences.

<<OOC>> What time is it? I think its almost dusk? <<OOC>>
Anyhow:
<<IC>> Suggested actions:
1. Elf Nob/Tracker and the Human/Bear combo: Chat with militia about lights in the woods/head north east to see if they can see any lights in the woods. 2. Glodson and Brave Sir Robin Rene: Chat with/interrogate boy who encountered the skull, then go to the tavern to try and get stories about the woods glowing at night /rat like beastmen/battle sites to the North(east). 3. Elf Wizard: Drink water, buy (name) beer to get details of what happened to him/how he can bite a coin with no teeth…is it something in his mouth (maybe he’s transformed an invisible demon weapon into a set of false teeth?), is it something like mutated hardened gums…also if I remember correctly the coin had the dark wind of magic on it for a while after it was bitten so it’s certainly of interest.
Unless anyone objects lets get investigating <<IC>>

I can now see why the Dwarfs are considered a superior race to the elves, having grasped the concept of not taking everything literally. We know there's something going on, we have a rough area to look in, lets see what we can find in the area, which doesn't need to mean tracks from the skulls.
OOC: The bear has tracking abilities as well does she not? I mean if the Elf is too scared to go out, me and Ursula can go have a sniff around.

There is an IC thread for gameplay which can take OOC Qs to me for specific answer as if we were at the table, this is for the purely OOC player level discussion and again I can reply for info that you might have or need - can we split it to action and discussion threads - otherwise its impossible for me to keep separate or guess which you want actioned and which not.
If its here it will not get an IC action. I might miss an OOC Question as well if its jumbled.
Requested info: Current Time is about 5pm, so a couple of hours before sunset. Ice Bears do indeed have Follow Trail as a skill

Oh Mr Dwarf type!
After proving myself in combat (unlike the halfling), the new guy has a good quality spear, would you be able to apply your touch and stick a rune on it?

Do we know what the 'competent ' party faced in the other cave ?
Also, Mr Stunty, my rune of smitting could do with a top up. As it did actually do the final blow for Mr bad wizzard.

A half dozen toughs, a low quality mage in the other cave. Otto the Light mage, the Giantslayer, and the two men at arms dealt with them

To summarise the last session for Rory. 50xp were awarded for the previous session. We went in media res from the previous session. From your character's perspective, things went dead quiet after the delivery was made at the warehouse and about 10mins later the mob exited stage rear, across the canal where you met them. It probable your escape was made by one of the guards with dogs but any pursuit was evaded or not forthcoming. There were issues concerning a magical seal within some purloined money making a small fire elemental appearing at the pub in that evening but a bucket of water seemed to deal with it. Many people were spoken to including a Light Wizard, a Jade Wizard, a Bright Wizard (coincidentally a person whose money you think you may have purloined), Theodora and Fwederwick again. The location of the artefact you need is known - its under lock and key in the light College. You will be allowed to get at it if you 1) get a way of destroying it and 2) neutralise a fanatic witchfinder who is a) insane, b) has support of the Council of Nobles and c) has support from the Church of Sigmar. You aren't allowed to kill him, and it needs to be a permanent enough removal that his support doesn't act in his stead as he has a 'thing' about Light Wizards in particular. You have been offered two ways to destroy the artefact - one by a Bright Wizard who is making preparations for his ritual as we speak who is happy to help, the second by a Jade Wizard who will carry his ritual for "anyone 'oo is zat desperate zat zey need to ask". They believe there is another option out there. They plan to shortly visit a Sigmar witchhunter priestess to try to undermine a dwarf (coals to Newcastle?), and to visit the dwarf himself to see just how many rolls of rubber wallpaper we are talking.

That's a far more lucid and precise account of events than I could ever produce. Maybe invest in a scribe :-)
Things were never this complicated in good old Bretonnia . If I ever make it back I will have some tails to tell. Should be worth a couple of bottles of the vino in the local.

Right. A thoroughly successful session last night, very productive. Strikes me we need to polish off the last crimson skull at the mutant house next time around, might get a chance to fight an even more sucessful battle.

By my accounting I think I have 340 xp to splash. To progress young Rene' I think I have to swap to squire then promote to knight ? Is that correct? I also remember that there is an extra 10% dodge to pick up on the way somewhere. Is that 300 + enough or still a bit to go?
It was a productive session indeed. I think we nearly have all the pieces on the board , along with a couple of wild cards! Along with the delightful lady of mystery of course.
