Who in the club, pray tell, has 3rd Edition Warhammer Fantasy Battle rules and fancies a bit of Oldhammer in the coming months?

I have 3ed WH & armylists and stuff but I don't really have much in the way of forces these days because I've converted them all to FW (which has diff basing).
Are you sure you don't want to play FW instead?

I bought the book but really it was for crossing over with 40k RT. I haven't got nearly enough fantasy models for proper wargaming, only skirmishes like in Frostgrave.

I have WHFBIII and could probably get at least three armies together for it - Dark Elves, Wood Elves and undead. You have Dwarves and rats presumably Tim?
So yes, could probably do a game at some point.

Hmmm, Ravening Hordes - wasn't that WHFBII? I don't have a copy of that but I'm sure there's something on Ebay. Might get me some High Helms....

Ravening Hordes was produced to introduce v3 to the public and essentially works with v2 using its rule changes, or with v3 as is. The reason I never got WFB3 before now was my friends had the books and I had Ravening Hordes and just built from there. Last time I looked the Skaven from Warhammer Armies pretty much overlapped. im looking for a copy of the Armies book to be sure and to expand the range though.

You should seriously consider Fantasy Warriors. All the books are free...
