I'd like to talk to you today about the DEAD. They're dead. But still moving around. And there's a lot of them these days. At least 2x 24pts. Possibly more.
I think there should be some sort of RECKONING. Via DRAGON RAMPANT.
(I can front some loaner armies for people.)

Sounds logical. Although I can think of several who might get ratty, I could run some of your undead too.

If memory serves me well, in the last encounter the undead were transformed to bone meal and spread on the land.

Yeah but I've unbuggered the army lists since then.
Never ever ever ever buy "undead" for non-horde units.

So, as traditional, we will be unsure as to the vivacity of the units in question.

OK, I have assembled four (4) evil armies of twenty four (24) points. "The Zombies": What it says on the tin. "The Lizardmen": Also what it says on the tin. Lizardmen. It's actually a FW army minus a bunch of the more exotic components. "The Blight": Monsters of the night. "The Threat from the Deep": Cthulhu-esque monsters. So actually many of them are alive, many of them were once alive and some of them... neither really. For those interested, I have a combined list of all the various units from Lion Rampant (medieval), Dragon Rampant, Pikeman's Lament (TYW/ECW) along with Raven Feeders (dark age adaptation), siege rules and Rise of the Tokugawa from various magazine articles: docs.google.com/document/d/1ij0_oD9VGXOehYGkmCDDs0YTV1kKKefFoy69xPBgqNw/editI've also got the PDF for record cards for the LR-derived games: www.fysh.org/~katie/wargames/downloads/lionrampant/recordcards.pdf

Sorry about the no show, I had got in only just before Simon called me - ridiculous traffic due to a breakdown at a choke point into Bar Hill meant just under two hours to get home from Madingley Road...
Did things get Rampant? How did they go if so, and if not shall we plan another time....

Superb game last night. Hard fighting and a really close result.
The "Threat from the Deep" army works pretty well, the Lizardmen seemed well balanced apart from their slow arty.
The zombies were more of an experimental army. I think they need a swap-out to have two necromancers to issue "prod thee" at them to get the hordes moving. It's surprising how much of a practical diff there is between a 5+ move and a 6+. On the other hand, it was obvious how losing units wasn't nearly such a big deal when they're just disposable deadites.
Hehehhe. "Waaaaaaagon...."
