While wading through my boxes of stuff that I still haven't unpacked from moving house (about 7 years now and counting), I discovered a couple of sets of the big re-release of the original Necromunda. Before you think I mean the 2017 one, I'm talking about the big book that you can mallet a Spyre with, which combined all three of the original paper backs and the Outlanders expansion.
It's sort of 40K 2nd edition with less models, but more depth. It's also entirely scenario based. If you get caught with your pants down by a bigger gang, weeell do you feel lucky Escher scumbag?
Would anyone be interested in a campaign? It'll take me a few weeks if not months to set everything up, so plenty of time to get some models ready... right?
If you have a gang of interest that's not in the core rules, let me know and I might be able to find something.
As I have two copies of the rules books I could theoretically leave materials at the club for game play even when I'm not there.
Are you interested?
For those of you who don't know what gangs there are:
Core:
Orlock: The ultramarine's of Necromunda, IE: the boring generic gang.
Cawdor: Preachy buggers who really love the Emperor
Delaque: Think the MAtrix, flasher macs, guns and sunglasses at all times.
Escher: Pick a female pop-star who wears outrageous clothing from your generation, ramp it up to 11, and add guns.
Goliath: Steroids!
Van Saar: All the Gear and no Idea!
Outlanders:
Redemptionists: Basically Cawdor preachy types but wholly into preaching, and as this is the 40K universe, that invariably means flame throwers for Preaching to everyone else.
Ratskins: Red Indians in spaaaaace!
Scavvies: All the mutants that got flushed down to the deeps pits of the underhive.
Spyre Hunters: Rich boys form the spires with all the toys out for a safari.
