Right. I bought the book for R & P and am thinking seriousl about a miniatures purchase.
I could certainly go for ACW. If it works out I will probably paint up some troops for the contemporary French intervention in Mexico. Are you thinking Union or Confederate Katie?

The best boss fights always look darkest just before the dawn. Good teamwork, team!

Hi all,
I'm back from South Africa and going to try to make more club nights in the coming months. I'll be along tomorrow night with some of the games I have acquired recently but not tried: Agammemnon; The Witches (Discworld); and a rather snappy card game one of my colleagues in SA designed called Have at Thee!
Up for anything as usual though.

I like the Copplestone future wars minis. Also take a look at Mantic, they have been doing serial-numbers-filed-off Necromunda factions for a while now.
I'm very keen to get the crew of the Ouroboros back into the grim streets.

Hi Belg, In my experience weather modifiers are best kept simple. I would agree that replacing the snow levels is superior. Adding sounds like a nightmare. Substituting snowdrifts will have units wandering around the table looking for the best route through, but that sounds about right for the fog of war...
In real life of course, snow does pile up and armies do become immobilised but the best way to simulate that is probably random game length rather than footling around with bigger and bigger snowdrifts. Let us know how it goes! I want to try it now, winter is coming...

Right. A thoroughly successful session last night, very productive. Strikes me we need to polish off the last crimson skull at the mutant house next time around, might get a chance to fight an even more sucessful battle.

I've been told we have a shortlist of candidates for exorcism. More than happy to do some public relations.
See you all tomorrow.

There would be no ladder issues if we had smoked out those antique dealers like we discussed. Plus now we have eyeball on any visitors.
You should absolutely take over the business for the evening, it's not like Leviathan Holdings keep employment records to prove you wrong.
Worst case scenario we can always blame it on the Bretonnian goldworm.
